Head of Product-Led Content Marketing

Superside is looking for a Head of Content-Led Marketing to join our 50+ people, fully remote Marketing team.

As an integral marketing team member, you’ll be responsible for helping Superside grow even faster by building an amazing content marketing program.

Reporting to the VP Marketing, your role will focus on creating content directed to our existing customer accounts to enable product adoption and create brand affinity and loyalty. You will work closely with the Product Marketing, Customer Success, Expansion Sales and Community Management teams in order to better serve our prospects and customers.

When you join, you will have five direct reports (per the 2022 hiring plan) and can build and organize your team based on your best judgment of the company’s needs. You can also rely on and share resources with the Brand and lead-gen-focused Content team and the SEO team.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead our content strategy and production touching on two key areas— Conversion-oriented “sales enablement” content & Post-sales content for our current customer and user base
  • Co-own our overall video marketing strategy along with the other Head of Content Marketing
  • Focus on ‘How-to’ content to attract, teach and retain relevant buyer personas
  • Contribute to our blog by spotlighting customers, and their successes, and showcasing our use-cases
  • Own our customer comms program, the monthly customer newsletter and other ad-hoc customer communications
  • Own our customer education and training resources program, including how-to videos, courses, product announcements that drive usage, etc.
  • Work with our Sales and Customer Success teams to source testimonials, customer stories and more to use across our digital channels
  • Build and maintain relationships with experts and influencers, and effectively work with them for co-marketing purposes
  • Run monthly reports & in-depth analysis of your content’s performance and how it contributed to lead gen, MRR, and so on
What you’ll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in various Content Marketing or Product Marketing roles
  • Marketing and team management experience at an agency or a SaaS/tech company
  • Ability to discern what content to produce & measure content performance
  • Familiarity with the goals of demand gen and product marketing
  • Ability to work closely with demand gen, sales, and customer success
  • Market, customer, and competitor research skills
  • Competency to run a tight, rigorous process and manage multiple projects and stakeholders through reviews and approvals
  • A high degree of flexibility and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Eagerness to execute and create scalable processes within a growing company
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the know-how to preserve the story of another writer while policing voice and tone

1h conversation with a Team Lead. You’ll first have the opportunity to present your work before diving deeper into your past experience.
