Creative Director
Superside is seeking a dynamic and innovative Creative Director to lead one of our top-tier Pods, working with high-profile global brands like Meta, Amazon, and Booking. This is a key leadership role within our Pod structure, where you will oversee the creative excellence and quality across your portfolio, driving impact through multidisciplinary team leadership and collaboration.
Reporting to the VP of Creative Services, you will guide the creative direction and strategic output of your Pod, ensuring consistently high-quality work across all projects while driving retention of key accounts. This role requires someone with the vision to lead a diverse team and the ability to execute on ambitious creative goals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you'll do
- Ensure the highest creative quality across your portfolio of accounts, consistently exceeding customer expectations and Superside’s standards of excellence.
- Oversee the creative direction and strategic output for all projects, aligning with customer objectives while driving innovative solutions.
- Lead a cross-functional, collaborative team through the creative process, fostering strong communication, shared understanding, and efficient workflows.
- Partner closely with the Creative Project Manager and Customer Success Manager Pod Leads to ensure seamless alignment on customer goals, resource optimization, and delivery success.
- Drive social media and advertising expertise, creating impactful, trend-driven campaigns that scale across multiple platforms while delivering top-tier results.
- Lead upstream creative development, including strategy, concepting, and content adaptation for diverse customer needs.
- Foster a culture of mentorship and team development, guiding designers, facilitating creative sessions, and championing collaboration and constructive feedback to elevate team performance.
- Integrate AI and generative tools into creative workflows, driving efficiency, scalability, and measurable business results while maintaining the human touch in storytelling.
- Stay ahead of social media trends and platform innovations to ensure the Pod’s creative output is consistently relevant, engaging, and impactful.
What you'll need
- 5+ years in a creative, customer-facing leadership role, preferably in fast-paced, digital-first environments like creative agencies, social media agencies, or in-house roles at companies with a strong social presence.
- A proven track record of creating and leading high-impact social media and ad design campaigns that drive results.
- Exceptional leadership abilities to inspire, develop and manage a large, multi-disciplinary team,leading both the strategic and creative execution of social media and ad campaigns.
- Deep knowledge of social media platform with an incredible ability to identify and leverage social trends, captivate an audience and drive engagement.
- Ability to analyze data to leverage metrics, drive decisions based on insights and deliver successful campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools for design and campaign optimization, using AI to enhance creative processes while keeping a human touch in storytelling
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives that resonate with clients and drive their business forward.
